For this project, I redesigned a purchase order (PO) form for the HBT National Buying Group as part of DEKS’ sales and promotional efforts. The original form worked but looked plain, so my job was to make it more engaging and effective for sales.

The PO form was meant for independent retailers working with HBT. My goal was to present DEKS product bundles clearly and persuasively. Each package included offers like in-store credit, point-of-sale materials, and giveaways, which I needed to show quickly and visually.

Since the form was structured and full of data, one challenge was making it easy to read while still looking good. I had to show pricing tables, product groups, and order details clearly, while also adding bold promotional messages and engaging design features.

To do this, I improved the hierarchy, added strong visual cues, and used layout and typography to guide readers through the offer without overwhelming them. My aim was to turn a standard business document into a clear, energetic, and sales-focused marketing tool.

This project showed me how important information design is and proved that good visual communication can improve even the most practical business documents.
